Introduction about Naoki Matsuyama

Naoki Matsuyama

I am Ph.D. in Sport Sciences and an Assistant Lecturer in an area of special needs education at Tokyo Kasei Gakuin University. In the past, I served as a physical coach for a professional basketball team in Japan and as a teacher in special needs education. Drawing from these experiences, I currently teach subjects related to sports and special needs education at my university.

Recently, my research has centered on using ICT devices for remote coaching, targeting students in sparsely populated areas such as mountainous regions and remote islands. In my latest study, I provide coaching in Athletics to a student with an Intellectual Disability. Moving forward, I would like to consider research on remote coaching for school children in both Japan and Vietnam.
