Working Session with Dongduk Women’s University (Republic of Korea) and Signing of a Cooperation Agreement with Vinako Edu

On the afternoon of May 27, Hanoi Metropolitan University hosted a working session with Dongduk Women’s University (Republic of Korea) and held a cooperation agreement signing ceremony with Vinako Edu Consulting and Education Co., Ltd., marking an important step in expanding its international partnerships and strengthening collaboration in education and training.

The program opens up numerous opportunities for international cooperation in training, academic exchange, and student mobility, while creating favorable conditions for the University’s administrators, lecturers, and students to access South Korea’s modern educational environment.

Attending the program on behalf of Dongduk Women’s University were Mr. Song Sang Yeon, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and Mr. Kim Daechul, Head of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.

Representing Vinako Education and Consulting Co., Ltd. were Ms. Doan Thai Thuy, Chairwoman of Vinako Group; Mr. Park Ki Seong, Director of the VKEC Korean Language Training Institute; Dr. Tran Sam, Senior Advisor to Vinako; together with representatives from the company’s professional departments.

Representing Hanoi Metropolitan University were Dr. Tran Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University; leaders of departments, faculties, and institutes; along with a large number of students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Hanoi Studies and International Education.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Tran Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University, emphasized that as Vietnam–South Korea relations continue to develop strongly across multiple sectors, education and training remain an important bridge for promoting cultural and academic exchange as well as the development of high-quality human resources between the two countries. The University expects that expanding cooperation with Korean partners will provide more opportunities for international learning and experience for its administrators, lecturers, and students.

Representatives of Dongduk Women’s University introduced an overview of the institution’s history, academic programs, and internationalization strategy. As one of the first women’s universities in South Korea, with more than 100 years of establishment and development, Dongduk Women’s University is recognized as a pioneering educational institution in training, research, and the development of female human resources in South Korea.

Dongduk representatives noted that many of the University’s academic programs are designed with flexibility, enabling high school students to access and participate in international learning pathways. At the same time, the University hopes to promote student exchange activities, academic interaction, and expanded access to Korean education for Vietnamese students in general and Hanoi Metropolitan University students in particular.

At the meeting, Ms. Doan Thai Thuy, Chairwoman of Vinako Group, shared future directions for Vietnam–South Korea educational cooperation. Accordingly, Vinako Edu will serve as a bridge connecting Korean universities with Hanoi Metropolitan University to promote international cooperation programs, support students in accessing advanced learning environments, and expand opportunities for study abroad and academic exchange.

Within the framework of the program, representatives of the parties discussed various areas of cooperation, including academic exchange, student mobility, the implementation of the D2-6 program, and the Korean Master’s E-Visa program. The parties agreed to strengthen coordination in developing educational programs that meet practical needs and international integration trends.

The University signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Vinako Education and Consulting Co., Ltd.

The highlight of the program was the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Hanoi Metropolitan University and Vinako Education and Consulting Co., Ltd. The event marks a new milestone in the University’s strategy of expanding international cooperation, contributing to the enhancement of educational quality and creating more learning and development opportunities for students in the context of global integration.

Following the signing ceremony, representatives of Dongduk Women’s University, Vinako Edu, and students of Hanoi Metropolitan University engaged in direct exchanges and discussions about study opportunities, academic programs, and the educational environment in South Korea in an open, friendly, and positive atmosphere.

The cooperation activities between Hanoi Metropolitan University and Dongduk Women’s University, with the support of Vinako Edu, not only create additional opportunities for students to study, engage in academic exchange, and access South Korea’s advanced educational system, but also contribute to promoting cultural exchange, enhancing mutual understanding, and strengthening connections between the younger generations of the two countries in the era of international integration.
