Strengthening international cooperation with UWE Bristol (United Kingdom).
On the morning of January 20, 2026, Hanoi Metropolitan University held a working session and cooperation meeting with UWE Bristol (University of the West of England, United Kingdom), aiming to promote international collaboration in training, scientific research, and academic exchange.

Representing UWE Bristol were Ms. Karan Vickers-Hulse, Deputy Head of the School of Education and Childhood; Ms. Fay Lewis, Head of Department, Master of Education; and Mr. Duy Trần, Marketing and Recruitment Representative for UWE Bristol in the Indochina region. On behalf of Hanoi Metropolitan University, the meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Vice President of the University, along with leaders and lecturers from the Department of Science Management and Development Cooperation, the Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân chaired the session and delivered an overview of the University’s tradition, development process, key academic strengths, and strategic orientation for expanding international cooperation in the coming period.

Ms. Karan Vickers-Hulse, Deputy Head of the School of Education and Childhood at UWE Bristol, shared her remarks at the meeting.
Representing UWE Bristol, Ms. Karan Vickers-Hulse shared valuable experiences in designing and implementing internationally standardized training programs, applying modern and practice-oriented teaching methodologies, as well as models for faculty development and student support. She also expressed UWE Bristol’s desire to strengthen cooperation with Hanoi Metropolitan University in program development, academic exchange, and enhancing teaching quality.
