Signing a Cooperation Agreement with Asia Innovative Education Joint Stock Company (AI Education)

On the afternoon of January 15, Hanoi Metropolitan University held a signing ceremony to establish a cooperation agreement with Asia Innovative Education Joint Stock Company (AI Education). The partnership aims to enhance the application and implementation of digital transformation in the field of education and training.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of AI Education were Mr. Bung Trần, Chairman of the Board and a global lecturer for Google; Mr. Đỗ Trần Bình Minh, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Nguyễn Phúc Nhàn, Chief Operating Officer; along with other members of the delegation.
Representing Hanoi Metropolitan University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Rector; Vice Rectors Dr. Bùi Quốc Hoàn and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân; as well as leaders from various departments of the university.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Rector of Hanoi Metropolitan University, expressed his pleasure in establishing a partnership with AI Education. He also provided a brief overview of the university's 65-year history and tradition of development.
According to Rector Đỗ Hồng Cường, the university will focus in the coming time on prioritizing the development of key fields that are of particular interest and necessity to Hanoi City, including: education, culture, urban economics, and environmental technology. He also highlighted the recent issuance of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 by the Politburo, which calls for a breakthrough in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
The Resolution emphasizes that science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation must be regarded as top priorities and key driving forces to accelerate the development of modern productive forces, reform production relations, renew national governance methods, foster socio-economic development, and prevent the risk of falling behind—enabling the country to make a breakthrough toward prosperity in the new era.
As a higher education institution under the direct management of the Hanoi People's Committee, Hanoi Metropolitan University is committed to promptly implementing directives and assigned tasks aligned with Resolution 57, with a strong focus on advancing science, technology, and digital transformation.
Currently, the university offers 30 academic programs, with teacher education remaining the institution’s core foundation. Through this partnership, the university hopes to enhance teacher training, especially in digital competency and digital transformation, and to expand cooperation in various other fields.

Mr. Bung Trần, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AI Education, shared his thoughts at the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Bung Trần, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AI Education, expressed his honor to collaborate and work with Hanoi Metropolitan University. According to Mr. Bung Trần, AI Education is currently an official authorized partner of Google in Vietnam. The company was founded by a team of experts with over 10 years of experience in education, training, and educational technology, and it maintains a broad network of educational partners across Israel, Singapore, and the United States.
He emphasized that the Google ecosystem is a network of digital products, services, and tools designed to work seamlessly together, creating a connected and enriched experience for users. Currently, Google offers free education accounts that integrate 24 of its most popular applications out of over 500 available tools. AI Education has trained more than 30,000 teachers, helping to personalize teaching and learning by equipping each student with a digital device and integrating AI-powered tools to support classroom instruction.

The two parties signed a cooperation agreement.
At the signing ceremony, Hanoi Metropolitan University and AI Education agreed on a cooperation framework covering the following areas:
Human resource development and community service activities;
Training, professional development, and scientific research in fields such as management science, policy studies in social sciences, organizational management, and human resource development;
Support for students and lecturers in internships, practical experience, access to additional knowledge and learning materials;
Collaboration in communication and branding efforts to promote the image and reputation of both parties.
