Hanoi Metropolitan University screens the film “Red Rain” free of charge for its faculty, staff, and students.
In celebration of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (22 December 1944 – 22 December 2025), Hanoi Metropolitan University, in collaboration with Viettel Hanoi, implemented a program to screen the film “Red Rain” free of charge on the TV360 platform.

The film “Red Rain” vividly and emotionally recreates the 81 days and nights of fierce fighting at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel in 1972 – one of the battles symbolizing the resilient and indomitable spirit of the Vietnamese nation.
Through an authentic and moving narrative, “Red Rain” portrays the image of young soldiers: brave in combat, loyal in comradeship, and ready to sacrifice themselves for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The film not only reconstructs history but also evokes national pride and a deep appreciation for today’s peace among viewers.
A representative of Viettel Hanoi stated that holding the exclusive distribution rights and providing free screenings of the film on the TV360 platform is not only meaningful in terms of communication but also demonstrates the company’s social responsibility in spreading valuable cultural works. With its multi-platform viewing technology, TV360 enables students, lecturers, and the public to easily access the film anytime and anywhere, thereby creating a modern, friendly, and approachable space for paying tribute to history.
Speaking at the program, M.A. Ha Thu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Department of Academic Management and Student Affairs, emphasized that the screening of “Red Rain” provides an opportunity for students to better understand national historical values, deeply feel the losses and sacrifices of previous generations, and foster a spirit of gratitude, responsibility, and pride in revolutionary traditions.
