On November 29, 2025, Hanoi Metropolitan University was officially awarded the Certificate of Institutional Quality Accreditation by the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, certifying that the University meets the quality accreditation standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. This marks an important milestone in the University’s roadmap to enhancing quality and affirming its prestige within Vietnam’s higher education system.
In accordance with Plan No. 204/KH-ĐHTĐHN dated February 24, 2025, issued by the President of Hanoi Metropolitan University regarding the organization of the second-cycle external quality assessment of the institution for the period 2020–2025, the University fully implemented all required preparatory steps and closely coordinated with the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation to conduct the preliminary survey and the official site visit.

From July 19 to July 23, 2025, Hanoi Metropolitan University welcomed the external review panel from the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation to conduct the official site visit for institutional quality assessment in accordance with the accreditation standards promulgated under Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDĐT. Throughout the evaluation period, the review panel carried out all required activities, including reviewing the system of supporting documents, conducting discussions and interviews with relevant stakeholder groups to collect multi-dimensional feedback, and inspecting the University’s facilities to verify and validate the contents of the self-assessment report.

The successful achievement of Institutional Quality Accreditation for the period 2025–2030 plays a significant role for the University, affirming that Hanoi Metropolitan University fully meets the requirements for training quality, governance, and community service as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. This outcome reflects the University’s continuous efforts toward improvement, while enhancing its reputation and competitiveness within the higher education system. It also provides a solid foundation for the University to further expand cooperation, develop academic programs, and maintain a modern and sustainable quality assurance system, serving the goal of becoming a high-quality higher education institution in the coming period.
