Hanoi Metropolitan University held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association (HANOISME). The ceremony aimed to strengthen links between the University and the business community, expand internship and employment opportunities, and enhance the quality of training to meet societal needs.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association, were Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman/Secretary General of the Association; members of the delegation; and representatives of member enterprises. On behalf of the University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice President of Hanoi Metropolitan University, together with representatives of the University’s departments and offices

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the University Council, highlighted the significance of the cooperation signing between Hanoi Metropolitan University and the Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association in the context of higher education increasingly strengthening links with enterprises and labor market demands. He affirmed that the signing ceremony was organized to enhance the strategic partnership between the two sides, aiming to support students in improving professional skills, increasing practical experience, and better meeting enterprises’ requirements for workforce quality. The Chairman emphasized that the event demonstrated the determination of both the University and the Association to leverage their respective strengths and to build practical, effective, and sustainable cooperative programs. He expressed confidence that the partnership would open up many new opportunities in training, research, and job connections for students, contributing to improving the quality of the Capital’s human resources and laying a foundation for the long-term development of both institutions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice President of the University, stated that based on practical enterprise requirements and survey results on students’ skills, this cooperation signing held special significance for the University. He emphasized that cooperation between the University, the Association, and enterprises is not merely symbolic but a practical requirement to improve training quality in line with learning outcomes. Students of Hanoi Metropolitan University will have more opportunities to participate in enterprise activities, access real working environments, develop professional conduct, enhance occupational skills, and accumulate experience.
