Promoting Cultural and Academic Exchange with Beijing Language and Culture University (China)

From July 10 to July 12, 2025, a delegation from Hanoi Metropolitan University paid a visit to and worked with Beijing Language and Culture University, China. The working trip was carried out under Decision No. 3725/QĐ-UBND dated July 9, 2025, issued by the Hanoi People’s Committee.

The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân – Vice President of the University – and included representatives from various departments and academic staff.
At Beijing Language and Culture University, the two sides discussed and agreed on a plan to implement cooperative activities in the 2025 academic year, particularly in the areas of training, scientific research, and academic exchange. The focus of the working program was to concretize previously signed cooperation agreements while expanding new opportunities such as developing joint training programs, exchanging staff and students, and organizing international conferences. The two sides plan to hold a scientific conference on Chinese language teaching and training in 2026.

The working trip yielded many positive results, contributing to strengthening the friendly, effective, and long-term cooperative relationship between the two universities. Vibrant exchange activities and experience-sharing sessions between faculty members and students from both sides created a solid foundation for a future strategic partnership.
The trip not only demonstrated Hanoi Metropolitan University’s efforts to promote the integration and internationalization of higher education but also marked an important step in implementing international cooperation projects approved by the Hanoi People’s Committee.
