Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Vũ Bích Hiền, Rector of Hanoi Metropolitan University, emphasized that in the context of international integration, the university always attaches great importance to accreditation and quality assurance as a means to continuously improve and enhance training quality to meet the increasing demands of society. The quality accreditation criteria have become a benchmark for all aspects of the university’s operations.

She noted that the university conducts annual internal self-assessments of institutional operations and academic programs, and regularly collects feedback from stakeholders—including students, alumni, faculty, and employers—to improve activities, revise course content, and enhance academic programs.

The Rector also highlighted the importance of external evaluation, stating that in the process of meeting the requirements of the external evaluation team, each individual in every unit of the university strives to identify their strengths to promote, as well as areas that need improvement. This process supports self-adjustment and self-orientation, contributing to the development of a strong culture of quality within both individual units and the university as a whole.
