Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Trung, Head of the Graduate Studies Office, announced the admission decisions for Cohort 9 and the graduation recognition decisions for Master's graduates.
On the morning of June 7, Hanoi Metropolitan University solemnly organized the Opening Ceremony for Master's Cohort 9 (Phase 1, 2026) and the Graduation Ceremony for 159 new Master's graduates in Educational Management and English Language. The event marked an important milestone, affirming the University's reputation and quality in postgraduate education while recognizing the academic and research achievements of learners throughout their study journey.
Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, President of the University; Dr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice President; Dr. Bui Quoc Hoan, Vice President; leaders of faculties, departments, and centers; professors, associate professors, doctors, thesis supervisors; representatives of partner organizations; and the graduates' family members.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, President of the University, delivered remarks at the ceremony.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong stated that the University's postgraduate education has achieved many notable accomplishments in recent years. Since 2018, the University has trained 2,061 doctoral candidates and graduate students, including 38 doctoral candidates and 2,033 Master's students in Educational Management, English Language, Elementary Mathematics Methods, and Theory and Methodology of Teaching.
The University President emphasized that, for the 2026 Master's admission cycle alone, 204 candidates were admitted from 352 applications, while 55 scientific papers authored by applicants had been published in specialized academic journals. These achievements demonstrate the increasing quality of postgraduate admissions and training, while also affirming the University's prestige and position in developing highly qualified human resources for Hanoi and the nation.

The University's Board of Management presented certificates of merit to students with outstanding academic achievements.
As part of the program, the University announced important decisions related to postgraduate education, awarded certificates of merit to students with excellent academic and personal achievements, and conferred Master's degrees upon graduates who had fulfilled all graduation requirements.

Mr. Choi Wonseok, a new Master's graduate in English Language, attended the ceremony with his family.
A special highlight of this year's graduation ceremony was the participation of international student Choi Wonseok, a new Master's graduate in English Language. Sharing his experience at the event, Choi explained that he chose Hanoi Metropolitan University's Master's program because it aligned with his professional development goals and provided a professional learning environment that allowed international students to study while gaining a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture, education, and people.
Choi Wonseok also expressed his hope that the University would continue strengthening support services for international students, particularly in research methodology, academic skills, thesis writing guidance, and exchange activities between Vietnamese and international students, thereby fostering a more international, professional, and connected learning environment.
