Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Civil Servant Recruitment Examination at Hanoi Metropolitan University.

Hanoi Metropolitan University organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Civil Servant Recruitment Examination, ensuring compliance with regulations, transparency, and openness, with the participation of supervising authorities and eligible candidates.

Overview of the Opening Ceremony

In implementation of Plan No. 1943/KH-ĐHTĐHN dated November 27, 2025, and Notice No. 1964/TB-ĐHTĐHN dated December 1, 2025, issued by Hanoi Metropolitan University regarding the 2025 civil servant recruitment, on the afternoon of January 18, 2026, the University held the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Civil Servant Recruitment Examination in accordance with regulations, ensuring transparency, publicity, seriousness, and objectivity.

The hall conducted the flag-raising ceremony prior to the Opening Ceremony.

The ceremony was conducted solemnly with the participation of the 2025 Recruitment Council, the Examination Supervision Board, and eligible candidates for Round 1. Representing the Supervision Board were Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân – Deputy Head of Division 7, Hanoi Inspectorate, Head of the Supervision Board; Mr. Đặng Hùng Dũng – Senior Specialist of the Recruitment and Training Division, Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, Deputy Head of the Supervision Board; and other members appointed under the Decision of the Hanoi People’s Committee. On behalf of Hanoi Metropolitan University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường – President of the University and Chairman of the Recruitment Council; M.A. Hoàng Thị Thu Phương – Head of the Organization, Administration and Governance Department and Vice Chairwoman of the Recruitment Council; along with members of the University leadership.

At the ceremony, the Recruitment Council announced the Decision on the establishment of the 2025 Recruitment Council of Hanoi Metropolitan University and the Decision of the Hanoi People’s Committee on the establishment of the Examination Supervision Board, affirming full compliance with legal regulations in the recruitment process. The 2025 Civil Servant Recruitment Examination at Hanoi Metropolitan University included a total of 48 recruitment positions, comprising 34 lecturer positions and 14 specialist and staff positions in various departments, faculties, and centers. Based on the recruitment notice and application review results, 115 candidates were deemed eligible to participate in the examination, which was organized in accordance with the approved plan, ensuring transparency, fairness, and objectivity.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường – President of Hanoi Metropolitan University and Chairman of the 2025 Civil Servant Recruitment Council – delivered the Opening Speech.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, President of Hanoi Metropolitan University and Chairman of the 2025 Recruitment Council, emphasized the importance of recruitment in building a team of civil servants with strong political qualities, professional ethics, expertise, and working capacity to meet the University’s development requirements in the new phase. He requested the Recruitment Council, the Supervision Board, and relevant units to strictly comply with regulations to ensure the examination is conducted safely, objectively, and in accordance with the law. He also encouraged candidates to demonstrate responsibility, remain calm and confident, and complete the examination successfully.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân – Deputy Head of Division 7, Hanoi Inspectorate, and Head of the Examination Supervision Board – delivered remarks at the Opening Ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân – Deputy Head of Division 7, Hanoi Inspectorate and Head of the Examination Supervision Board – affirmed that the Supervision Board would fully perform its assigned duties, closely monitoring the entire examination process from the opening ceremony to invigilation and marking, ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations.

The 2025 Civil Servant Recruitment Examination is an important activity demonstrating the determination of Hanoi Metropolitan University to build a high-quality civil servant workforce that meets the requirements of educational reform and training development, thereby enhancing the University’s reputation and position.
