Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Vice President of Hanoi Metropolitan University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Đông Đức, Head of the Faculty of Physical Education, National Defense and Security; Dr. Phạm Đình Tâm, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Physical Education, National Defense and Security; Dr. Đào Trường Thành, Head of the Department of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs; Dr. Trần Thị Hà Giang, Dean of the Faculty of Education; representatives of relevant departments; and more than 300 students from the Faculty of Education.

Speaking at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Vice President of Hanoi Metropolitan University, emphasized that the National Defense and Security Education course is an important component of the university curriculum, helping students enhance their awareness of civic responsibility, cultivate patriotism, discipline, and a serious attitude toward learning and training. He also highlighted that the course provides students with an opportunity to develop themselves, practice independent living skills, strengthen solidarity, share experiences with peers, and create meaningful memories during their university journey.

Dr. Phạm Đình Tâm, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Physical Education, National Defense and Security, introduced important regulations and requirements during the learning and training process. Students were informed about daily routines, compliance with rules and regulations, self-discipline, and personal responsibility throughout their study period at Campus 2.
During the three-week learning and training period at Campus 2 of Hanoi Metropolitan University, students will be equipped with fundamental knowledge of national defense and security, trained in adaptability within a collective environment, and educated about their responsibilities toward the community and the nation. Through the National Defense and Security Education course, students of Hanoi Metropolitan University are expected to develop a strong learning spirit while improving their discipline, lifestyle, and organizational skills, contributing to their comprehensive personal growth.

The University carefully prepared all necessary conditions, including organizational arrangements, student management, and coordination among relevant departments, to ensure that the course is conducted safely, effectively, and in an orderly manner. Hanoi Metropolitan University will continue to accompany, support, and provide assistance to students throughout their learning and training process.

The atmosphere before departure to Campus 2 was urgent, disciplined, yet filled with excitement. From early morning, students from the Faculty of Education were fully present, prepared their personal belongings, organized into formations, and completed the student handover procedures under the guidance of the University.
