Many meaningful activities through the “Green Summer” Campaign in Quang Tri Province

In response to the 2025 Youth Volunteer Campaign, students from Hanoi Metropolitan University participated in the “Green Summer” Campaign in Quang Tri Province from July 11 to July 24. This activity was organized by Cluster Group No. 8, which includes the Academy of Finance, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, Electric Power University, Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema, Hoa Binh University, and Hanoi Metropolitan University, in collaboration with the Youth Union of the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province. In the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and a desire to contribute, more than 30 volunteers from the cluster joined together in meaningful volunteer activities in Quang Tri — a land rich in revolutionary tradition.

From now until July 24, the volunteers of Youth Union Cluster No. 8, with the core being students from Electric Power University, will continue with meaningful projects and activities such as: constructing the “Lighting Up Rural Roads” project; supporting 100 households with basic electrical repairs; assisting local authorities at two levels; organizing literacy classes; and hosting summer activities for children.

The Youth Union of Hanoi Metropolitan University participated in the 2025 Green Summer Campaign alongside other universities in Youth Union Cluster No. 8, demonstrating a spirit of responsibility, compassion, and youthful enthusiasm. This was not only a voluntary journey but also a valuable environment for students to develop skills, grow in maturity, and promote their pioneering role in community development.

The Green Summer Campaign in Quang Tri was not only a volunteer journey but also a training ground for dedication and solidarity among the youth of the Capital, embodying Uncle Ho’s teaching: “Wherever youth is needed, they are present; whatever is difficult, youth will overcome.”
