Functions and Responsibilities
Admissions Work
Develop the postgraduate admissions plan annually.
Conduct communications and admissions counseling, and implement postgraduate admissions activities.
Training Management Work
Lead the development of management documents, regulations, and policies for postgraduate education.
Lead the management of postgraduate programs and the development of postgraduate training programs.
Organize and manage postgraduate training, including: training programs and study duration; plan and organize teaching; monitor learning outcomes; supervise training activities; handle other activities (temporary leave, dropouts; changing majors, changing study locations, transferring to other institutions, changing learning modes; student exchange and cooperation in training; handling violations by students). Organize thesis, dissertation, and research proposal defense committees.
Manage training programs and study duration for supplementary training modes as required. Design and implement other training models as assigned by the Rector.
Coordinate with training faculties/schools, the Department of Training Management & Student Affairs to manage the teaching load of instructors and other teaching-related activities.
Student Management Work
Develop and manage student records, comprehensively manage student data. Ensure the implementation of policies for students; process graduation, dropout, and transfer procedures for students and research students.
Organize the monitoring and evaluation of the quality of student and research student management through adherence to regulations, rules, and educational activities by faculty and staff responsible for student affairs across the institution.
Organize support activities for students in various areas, advise the university on improving and supplementing facilities to support students' learning.
Establish communication systems with students of different cohorts; collaborate with relevant units to conduct surveys for students, alumni, and employers; coordinate with departments to analyze and evaluate feedback from students on training programs and faculty to adjust training programs and develop faculty to meet teaching requirements.
