Innovation Day & Celebration of the 95th Anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

On the morning of March 26, at the Grand Hall, in celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026), Hanoi Metropolitan University organized the Youth Innovation Day featuring many meaningful activities. The program helped inspire dedication, responsibility, and the aspiration for personal development and career building among the University’s youth union members and students.
Attending the event on behalf of Hanoi Metropolitan University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Hanoi Metropolitan University; Dr. Bùi Quốc Hoàn, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, along with representatives from the University Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union, Student Association, leaders of various units, youth union members, and students.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Phạm Tấn Phát, Member of the Executive Committee and Deputy Head of Youth Affairs, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice President of the Hanoi Student Association; Mr. Nguyễn Thế Duy, Chief Executive Officer of ADT Global VN Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyễn Duy Tưởng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of E&P Global Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng, Chairman of the Scientific Council and Deputy General Director of E&P Global Joint Stock Company; Ms. Lê Thị Đa, Chief Executive Officer of Me School System; Mr. Phùng Việt Anh, Secretary of Nghĩa Đô Ward Youth Union; Dr. Trần Quang Hưng, Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Youth Union and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Innovation Center Joint Stock Company; and Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Tú, quantum expert, Professor of Computer Science, and Chairman of the IEEE QCE Student Scholarship Fund.

Dr. Bùi Quốc Hoàn, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, received the “For the Young Generation” commemorative medal.
The University awarded the “For the Young Generation” commemorative medal to Dr. Bùi Quốc Hoàn and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân in recognition of their active contributions to Youth Union work and the education and development of younger generations.


Also during the program, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements during Youth Month 2026 were honored and rewarded. The University’s Board of Rectors also presented awards for the “Forever Bright Youth Ideals” competition, which focused on understanding Politburo Resolution 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development, as well as Hanoi Party Committee Action Program No. 05 on advancing education in the Capital.
These activities demonstrated timely recognition of remarkable efforts in learning, personal development, and Youth Union–Student Association work, thereby motivating students to continue fostering responsibility, enthusiasm, and creativity in youth movements.
The program continued with a series of innovation and entrepreneurship-themed activities. Representatives from enterprises introduced practical technological products and solutions in the context of strong digital transformation, especially in education and training. These activities opened further opportunities for learning, research, innovation, and career orientation for Hanoi Metropolitan University students.

Within the framework of the event, Hanoi Metropolitan University officially signed cooperation agreements with ADT Global VN Joint Stock Company and E&P Global Joint Stock Company. This signing marked a new milestone in strengthening the partnership between the University and businesses, creating a foundation for collaboration in training, research, and technology transfer, while also expanding opportunities for study, internships, and employment for students.
The Youth Innovation Day of Hanoi Metropolitan University concluded in an atmosphere of excitement, pride, and inspiration. The success of the program further affirmed the important role of the Youth Union in uniting, educating, nurturing, and promoting youth potential, while also demonstrating the determination of HNMU youth to continuously learn, innovate, confidently integrate, and dedicate themselves to the community, the Capital, and the nation.
