Implementing the development of a KPI system for performance evaluation

On the afternoon of September 15, Hanoi Metropolitan University (Trường đại học thủ đô Hà Nội) held a meeting with BrainMark Vietnam Company to implement the development of the University’s performance evaluation system (KPIs). The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Rector of the University and Head of the Steering Committee for the KPI System Development Project. Also in attendance were representatives from the BrainMark advisory team, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Vice Rector of the University and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the KPI System Development Project, as well as leaders of various units across the University.

At the meeting, representatives from the consulting unit, BrainMark Vietnam Company, presented key contents to launch the KPI System Development Project at Hanoi Metropolitan University (Trường đại học thủ đô Hà Nội). The Project will be implemented in five phases: surveying and understanding the University’s organizational structure; developing University-level KPIs; developing Faculty/Department/Center/Institute-level KPIs; developing employee-level KPIs; establishing KPI regulations; and providing KPI training for staff. The Project is expected to be carried out at the University from September to December 2025.
BrainMark will be responsible for developing materials, conducting training, and supporting Hanoi Metropolitan University throughout the Project’s initiation and operational phases. Hanoi Metropolitan University also commits to closely coordinating with the consulting unit to ensure the Project’s timeline and quality.

This is a very important activity that helps enhance the efficiency of management, evaluation, and University development by providing data for informed decision-making, measuring the progress of goal achievement, promoting accountability and transparency, as well as motivating staff and faculty members.
