Honoring Valedictorians and Outstanding Graduates at the Temple of Literature – Imperial Academy

On the afternoon of July 1, in the solemn and historic space of the Temple of Literature – Imperial Academy, Hanoi Metropolitan University organized a ceremony honoring the valedictorians and outstanding graduates of the D2022 cohort. The event not only recognized the academic achievements and personal development of the new graduates but also expressed deep gratitude to families and lecturers – those who have quietly accompanied and supported students throughout their journey of growth.

Attending the ceremony, from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, was Mr. Vuong Huong Giang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training. From Hanoi Metropolitan University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the University; Dr. Tran Anh Tuan – Member of the Hanoi Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University; Dr. Bui Quoc Hoan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University; along with members of the Party Committee, leaders of the University’s units, and especially the presence of parents and 80 students honored as valedictorians and outstanding graduates of the entire cohort.

The leaders of Hanoi Metropolitan University honored and rewarded valedictorians and outstanding graduates.

At the ceremony, the University honored 80 outstanding students, including 1 university-wide valedictorian, 24 major valedictorians, and 55 outstanding graduates among a total of 1,770 students of the 2022–2026 cohort. These students represent perseverance, self-learning spirit, determination to overcome challenges, and a strong sense of responsibility toward themselves, their families, the University, and society.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, President of the University, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, President of Hanoi Metropolitan University, congratulated the valedictorians and outstanding graduates. The University’s leader emphasized that today’s achievements are the result of continuous efforts, perseverance in overcoming difficulties in both study and life. The greatest pride lies not only in academic scores or titles but also in the personal growth and maturity of students after years of studying at the University.

The President of Hanoi Metropolitan University received flowers of appreciation from Tran Minh Ngoc, the university-wide valedictorian.

Ms. Tran Minh Ngoc – University-wide Valedictorian, student of the High-quality Primary Education Program D2022 (Faculty of Education), shared her thoughts at the ceremony.

As one of the honored students, Tran Minh Ngoc – the university-wide valedictorian and student of the High-quality Primary Education Program D2022 (Faculty of Education), shared that her achievement was the result of continuous support from her family, lecturers, and the University’s learning environment. For Minh Ngoc, the title of valedictorian is not the final destination but the beginning of a journey to preserve her passion for education, continue nurturing knowledge, and contribute to shaping the character of future generations of students. “Standing at the Temple of Literature – Imperial Academy, a place that honors talents and scholars of the nation, we deeply understand the value of learning and the meaning of dedication. Perhaps in the future, we may not remember all the scores we achieved, but we will always remember the sacred emotions of today to remind ourselves to live responsibly, continuously improve ourselves, and contribute to the community.”
