Responding to the direction of the Party Committee and the University Board of Management of Hanoi Metropolitan University in preparing activities to welcome the new academic year 2026–2027, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union – Vietnam Students’ Association of Hanoi Metropolitan University organized a launch day for the on-site volunteer team under the theme “HNMU Youth – Loving Our University Through Small Acts” at Campus 1 of the University.

The activity was carried out with the urgency, responsibility, and enthusiasm of HNMU youth. Upholding the motto, “Wherever youth are needed, they are there; wherever there are difficulties, youth step forward,” Youth Union members and students joined hands in carrying out a range of practical activities, including cleaning and maintaining the university grounds; cleaning corridors, learning areas, and shared spaces; caring for trees and flower beds; and helping improve the campus environment in preparation for the new academic year.

A civilized university environment is shaped not only by its facilities and infrastructure but also by the awareness and actions of every member of the university community. When each student starts with small acts, positive changes can come together to create a friendly, clean, beautiful, and caring learning environment.

Through the launch day, the pioneering and volunteer spirit of HNMU youth was once again translated into practical actions. The activity also provided an opportunity for Youth Union members and students to demonstrate their pioneering role and contribute to creating a positive atmosphere ahead of the new academic year 2026–2027. After a morning of working together, the University campus took on a fresher and more orderly appearance. Familiar spaces became cleaner, more spacious, and more vibrant, ready to welcome the new academic year 2026–2027.
