HNMU Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony for D2022 Cohort Graduates: Closing a Journey, Opening New Horizons

On June 29 and 30, 2026, Hanoi Metropolitan University solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony for full-time undergraduate students of the 2025–2026 academic year, including graduates of the D2022 cohort from various faculties and training programs of the University. The ceremony marked a significant milestone, recognizing the graduates’ journey of learning and personal development while affirming the training quality and the University’s mission of nurturing and providing high-quality human resources for society.

The bright smiles, proud yet emotional eyes, and warm embraces from families, lecturers, and friends created a special atmosphere at the Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony for full-time undergraduate students of Hanoi Metropolitan University in the 2025–2026 academic year. On June 29 and 30, 2026, students of the D2022 cohort officially received their bachelor’s degrees, marking the completion of their university journey and confidently stepping into a new chapter of life.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Tran Anh Tuan – Member of the Hanoi Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University; Dr. Bui Quoc Hoan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan – Chairman of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, Vice President of the University; along with leaders of faculties, departments, institutes, centers, lecturers, parents, and all graduates of the D2022 cohort.

The Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony for full-time undergraduate students were held over two days for students of the D2022 cohort from the following faculties and institutes: Faculty of Education; Faculty of Economics and Tourism; Faculty of Management and Urban Studies; Faculty of Physical Education – Defense and Security Education; Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; Faculty of Foreign Languages; Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology; Faculty of Engineering and Environment; and Institute of Hanoi Studies and International Education.

For each student, the ceremony was not only the moment to receive a degree after years of dedicated study but also a milestone marking their growth and maturity. Behind every smile on this special day were countless efforts, hours spent in lectures, internships, research activities, extracurricular experiences, and challenges overcome to achieve their chosen goals.

The University announced the decision recognizing graduation and awarded bachelor’s degrees to full-time undergraduate students of the D2022 cohort.

 

At the ceremony, the University’s leaders extended their congratulations to the new graduates of the D2022 cohort while recognizing and praising their persistent efforts throughout the process of study and personal development.

The University’s leaders emphasized that graduation is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey filled with opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities. Each degree awarded today not only recognizes academic achievements but also represents the determination, resilience, and maturity of the new graduates. It is also a source of pride for their families, friends, lecturers, and Hanoi Metropolitan University.

In the solemn and warm atmosphere of the ceremony, representing the D2022 graduates, Ms. Vu Thi Quynh Phuong, a student from Literature Education class D2022B, expressed her deep gratitude to lecturers, university staff, family members, and friends who had always accompanied, supported, and encouraged students throughout their years of study at Hanoi Metropolitan University.

Sharing her emotions at the ceremony, Quynh Phuong said: “There were times when we felt tired, there were moments when we doubted ourselves, but thanks to the dedicated guidance of our lecturers and the support of our families and friends, we gradually overcame challenges and were able to be present at this meaningful ceremony today.”

These simple yet sincere words of gratitude resonated deeply with lecturers, parents, and graduates, as they reflected the shared feelings of a generation of students who have grown and matured under the guidance of Hanoi Metropolitan University.

Ms. Vu Thi Quynh Phuong, student of Literature Education class D2022B, representing the new graduates, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the University and parents.

At the ceremony, the University announced the decision recognizing graduation for full-time undergraduate students of the D2022 cohort. Amid applause and congratulations from lecturers, family members, and friends, each graduate stepped onto the stage to receive their degree. Moments of adjusting graduation caps, receiving bouquets, and taking commemorative photos with families and lecturers created unforgettable memories of this special day.
