“Entrepreneurship and Innovation toward Sustainable Development.”

On the morning of October 30, 2025, Hanoi Metropolitan University, Faculty of Economics and Tourism organized a scientific seminar titled “Entrepreneurship and Innovation toward Sustainable Development.” The seminar served as a meaningful academic forum, contributing to raising awareness and inspiring the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among students, aiming toward sustainable development in the context of digital transformation and international integration.

The seminar was attended by many experts, scholars, and business representatives, including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Thị Ngọc Quyên, Deputy Director of the Institute for Creative Research, Foreign Trade University; Dr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hà, Ministry of Science and Technology; Dr. Hoàng Thị Bảo Thoa, Innovation Ambassador, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Dr. Huỳnh Thị Hòa, VNU School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Founder of the Unetkids – Smartkids – Smilekids bilingual preschool system; Mr. Nguyễn Đăng, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Trade and Investment Promotion Club.

From Hanoi Metropolitan University, the seminar welcomed the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Vice President of the University; Dr. Đặng Thị Minh Hiền, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism; Dr. Phạm Thị Minh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Environment; Dr. Đỗ Thị Vân Dung, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism; along with staff members, lecturers, and a large number of students of Hanoi Metropolitan University.

At the seminar, the speakers presented high-quality papers, offering multidimensional perspectives on global trends in the development of the creative economy, analyzing policies and the practical landscape of innovative entrepreneurship in Vietnam, and proposing various models and solutions for innovation oriented toward sustainable development. The experts’ insights contributed to clarifying both theoretical and practical issues arising in the process of entrepreneurship and innovation, while also drawing public attention to sustainable development goals.

Following the presentations, the seminar attracted numerous questions from students regarding essential skills for the entrepreneurial journey, challenges in implementing innovative ideas, and practical experiences from businesses. The seminar concluded in an enthusiastic atmosphere, opening new directions for training and scientific research activities in entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development at Hanoi Metropolitan University—a place where knowledge is nurtured, creativity is encouraged, and a spirit of initiative and continuous engagement is widely fostered.
