Conference of Officials and Employees for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

Overview of the Conference.

On August 28, 2026, Hanoi Metropolitan University held the Conference of Officials, Public Employees, and Employees for the 2026–2027 academic year. The Conference provided an opportunity to review the implementation of tasks during the 2025–2026 academic year and determine orientations and tasks for the new academic year, while promoting the right to participate, sense of responsibility, and contributions of officials, public employees, and employees to the development of the University.

Attending the Conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice Rector of the University; and all officials, public employees, and employees currently working at Hanoi Metropolitan University.

At the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, Rector of the University, presented the Report on the 2025–2026 Academic Year Review and the Orientations and Tasks for the 2026–2027 Academic Year. This was a key component of the Conference, aimed at reviewing the achievements attained, identifying issues that require further improvement, and determining the University’s tasks for the new academic year. The Rector of Hanoi Metropolitan University acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of all officials, public employees, and employees in carrying out the tasks of the 2025–2026 academic year. At the same time, the Rector called on all units and officials, public employees, and employees to continue promoting solidarity, initiative, and responsibility; strengthen coordination in task implementation; and promptly address difficulties and challenges, with the goal of improving training quality, management effectiveness, and the University’s sustainable development.

With a spirit of democracy, responsibility, and constructive engagement, the Conference provided time for officials, public employees, and employees to exchange views and contribute their opinions; the University’s Board of Management and functional units directly addressed matters of concern. This activity played an important role in strengthening dialogue between the University’s leadership and its officials, public employees, and employees, thereby contributing to consensus in implementing the tasks of the 2026–2027 academic year.

 

The new-term People’s Inspection Committee for the 2026–2028 term.

An important item on the Conference agenda was the election of the People’s Inspection Committee for the 2026–2028 term. The newly elected People’s Inspection Committee will continue to monitor and supervise the implementation of the Conference Resolution; understand the thoughts, aspirations, and concerns of officials, public employees, and employees; and make recommendations to the University and the Trade Union on matters related to the implementation of policies, benefits, and common activities.

The University’s Board of Management signs the Coordination Regulations with the University Trade Union.

 

Within the framework of the Conference, representatives of the University’s Board of Management and the Trade Union signed the Coordination Regulations, demonstrating their shared commitment and responsibility in coordinating the organization of activities and safeguarding the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of officials, public employees, and employees. With a high degree of democracy, solidarity, responsibility, and consensus, the Conference of Officials, Public Employees, and Employees for the 2026–2027 academic year successfully completed all planned contents. The tasks and solutions agreed upon at the Conference provide a foundation for all officials, public employees, and employees of Hanoi Metropolitan University to continue promoting initiative and innovation and joining efforts to successfully accomplish the tasks of the 2026–2027 academic year, contributing to the continued development of the University.
