"Conference on the implementation of cooperation between the University of Hanoi and Kunming Hua Wen Academy."
On the afternoon of August 21st, the University of Hanoi held a working session with the delegation from Kunming Hua Wen Academy, China, to implement the cooperation plan for the 2025-2026 academic year. Attending the meeting were Prof. Duang Jianquan, Vice Rector of Kunming Hua Wen Academy; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Rector of the University of Hanoi; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân, Vice Rector of the University, along with leaders from various units of both sides.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Rector of the University of Hanoi, expressed his joy and gratitude to Prof. Duang Jianquan and the members of the Kunming Hua Wen Academy delegation for visiting and working with the university. Rector Đỗ Hồng Cường emphasized that the University of Hanoi and Kunming Hua Wen Academy have a long-standing cooperative relationship, and today’s meeting is an important opportunity to discuss, deliberate, and promote new collaborative projects. The primary goal is to enhance the quality of education, promote cultural exchanges, and expand the relationship between the two institutions. Rector Đỗ Hồng Cường also expressed his hope that through these cooperative activities, the relationship between the two institutions would evolve into a long-term, sustainable partnership, not limited to education, curriculum development, or scientific research. This will contribute positively to enhancing educational cooperation between the two countries while improving the quality of training and scientific research at both institutions.
Representatives from Kunming Hua Wen Academy also discussed several areas of cooperation, focusing on strengthening the exchange of faculty and students in the Chinese Language program, increasing scholarships for students, and promoting scientific and academic research.
Both sides exchanged gifts and took commemorative photos.
