Comrade Nguyễn Anh Tuấn won Third Prize in the 5th Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party’s Ideological Foundation, Hanoi.

On the afternoon of September 26, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to review and present awards for the 5th Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party’s Ideological Foundation in 2025 across the city.

Attending the conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyễn Văn Phong, Head of Steering Committee 35 of the Hanoi Party Committee, and Head of the Contest Steering Committee in Hanoi; along with Lê Đức Cảnh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Central Steering Committee 35.

Also present were members of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee: Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyễn Doãn Toản – Permanent Deputy Head of Steering Committee 35 of the Hanoi Party Committee – Head of the Contest Organizing Committee; Head of the Hanoi Party Committee’s Organization Commission Hà Minh Hải; Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Bùi Huyền Mai; Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Vũ Thu Hà, and Deputy Heads of Steering Committee 35 of the Hanoi Party Committee, among others.

According to the contest’s summary report, after more than 3 months of launching (from March to the end of May 2025), the city received a total of 128,248 entries from agencies, units, and localities (an increase of 8,248 compared to 2024), across 7 categories: print journals, online journals, print newspapers, online newspapers, television, radio, and video clips.

This year’s contest continued to spread widely, attracting 58 agencies, units, and localities. From the 128,248 entries, 1,652 works were selected and submitted to the city-level competition. After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee evaluated, screened, and selected 437 high-quality works with high scores to compete in the final round.

With a spirit of responsibility, urgency, and seriousness, prioritizing quality and effectiveness, the Jury selected 99 outstanding works to award 101 prizes at the city level. From these, 85 of the best works were chosen to represent Hanoi in the national-level 5th Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party’s Ideological Foundation in 2025.

The contest drew enthusiastic participation and lively response from people of all walks of life. Notably, this year’s contest also received contributions from authors of ethnic minorities and from foreigners residing in Hanoi.

Recognizing these achievements, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals.

In particular, 99 excellent journalistic works were awarded city-level prizes, including: 7 First Prizes, 18 Second Prizes, 25 Third Prizes, 39 Consolation Prizes, 10 Promising Prizes, and 2 special prizes (for the oldest and youngest contestants).
