Announcement of the Decisions on the Appointment of Vice Presidents of Hanoi Metropolitan University.

At the conference, Hanoi Metropolitan University announced Decision No. 158/QĐ-UBND dated January 13, 2026, issued by the Hanoi People’s Committee on the mobilization and appointment of Mr. Trần Anh Tuấn, Member of the Hanoi Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, to the position of Vice President of the University. The University also announced Decision No. 311/QĐ-UBND dated January 22, 2026, on the reappointment of Mr. Bùi Quốc Hoàn as Vice President, and Decision No. 312/QĐ-UBND dated January 22, 2026, on the reappointment of Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân as Vice President of the University.

On behalf of the newly appointed and reappointed Vice Presidents, Dr. Trần Anh Tuấn expressed his sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Hanoi People’s Committee and to the faculty and staff of the University for their trust and confidence. He emphasized that the appointment is both an honor and a significant responsibility. In his new role, he pledged to quickly adapt to the new responsibilities, work wholeheartedly with the University’s leadership and staff, uphold unity and tradition, promote innovation, harness collective intelligence, and contribute to the continued development of Hanoi Metropolitan University as the only public university directly under the Hanoi People’s Committee.

Congratulating the newly appointed and reappointed Vice Presidents, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, President of the University, highlighted that the event marks a particularly important milestone, demonstrating the attention and support of the Hanoi People’s Committee in consolidating the University’s leadership team. He expressed his hope that with dedication and wisdom, the Board of Rectors, together with all faculty members, staff, and students, would remain united and determined to implement the University’s strategic vision, delivering high-quality human resources to society and contributing to the development of Hanoi Capital and the country.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, President Đỗ Hồng Cường also extended his best wishes to all faculty members, staff, and students for a peaceful and successful new year, encouraging them to effectively accomplish the goals and tasks set for the year ahead.
