"Working with the Institute of Architectural Research and Design, Zhejiang University (China)."

On the morning of September 9th, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council of the University of Hanoi, had a working session with the Institute of Architectural Research and Design, Zhejiang University (China), led by Mr. Dương Nghị, Secretary of the Party Committee. Also present were representatives from the Institute of Urban Studies and Infrastructure Development, as well as several unit leaders from both sides.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council of the University of Hanoi, introduced the history of the University’s formation and development.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn shared the history of the university’s establishment and development. He also mentioned that, with the support and guidance of the Hanoi People's Committee, the university would soon begin the renovation and construction of infrastructure to improve the quality of facilities and training activities. The university plans to start construction on its main campus (Campus 1) in September 2026, with the completion and use expected by September 2028. After that, by 2030, development will continue for Campus 2 and Campus 4.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, the University of Hanoi is very interested in urban studies. Currently, the university has a Faculty of Management and Urban Studies, which trains in public administration, but has yet to offer a program in urban architecture. Therefore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn expressed hope that this working session with the Institute of Architectural Research and Design, Zhejiang University would provide useful consultations for the university’s research and architectural design for the development of the university’s infrastructure. Additionally, both parties could collaborate by exchanging faculty members, students, and engaging in scientific research and image communication activities.

Thanking the University of Hanoi’s leadership for their warm welcome, Mr. Dương Nghị, Secretary of the Party Committee, shared that the Institute offers undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture, construction engineering, landscape principles, and urban energy. The Institute provides 35 scholarships annually for master's degree students. Through this meeting, the Institute expressed a desire to collaborate with the University of Hanoi in connecting and exchanging faculty members, students, and scholars between the two institutions. With its experience and expertise, the Institute is ready to assist the university in researching and designing the upcoming infrastructure projects.viên của hai đơn vị. Representatives from both parties discussed and deepened the areas of intended cooperation, exchanged gifts, took commemorative photos, and prepared for future meetings and further collaboration.
