Workshop “Leadership Training – Leadership in the Digital Era” (Season 2)

On the morning of May 29, the Vietnam Students’ Association of Hanoi Metropolitan University, in collaboration with the Information, Library and Learning Resources Center, organized the Workshop “Leadership Training – Leadership in the Digital Era” for affiliated student clubs (Season 2), combined with a session introducing and guiding participants on the use of the University’s digital resource database. The program attracted the participation of numerous administrators, lecturers, representatives of various units, and students from affiliated clubs.

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Tien Thang, Director of the Information, Library and Learning Resources Center; M.A. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen, President of the Vietnam Students’ Association of Hanoi Metropolitan University; together with leaders of various units, staff members, lecturers, and students from affiliated clubs.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice Rector of the University, emphasized the important role of student clubs in building a comprehensive educational environment where students not only acquire professional knowledge but also develop skills, character, and a sense of responsibility. He affirmed that the University will always support and create favorable conditions for clubs to maximize their role in student life.

He also expressed his expectation that each student would serve as an ambassador for the dynamic, intellectual, and responsible image of Hanoi Metropolitan University, while each club would be a unique “piece of the puzzle” contributing to the distinct identity, vitality, and spirit of unity of HNMU youth in the new era.

The workshop served not only as a platform for equipping students with leadership, management, and club operation skills in a digital environment, but also as an opportunity for clubs to connect, share experiences, and promote the spirit of creativity and proactiveness among HNMU students.

Notably, the program marked the launch of the Hanoi Metropolitan University Student Club Network, a meaningful milestone in the journey toward building a dynamic, connected, and sustainable student community. From their unique identities and strengths, the clubs will come together to form a shared community characterized by enthusiasm, responsibility, and a strong aspiration to contribute.

Student club exhibition booths attracted a large number of delegates, lecturers, and students for visits and exploration.

One of the highlights of the program was the exhibition and introduction area featuring 36 affiliated clubs, teams, and student groups of Hanoi Metropolitan University. Each booth showcased a unique identity, reflecting the club’s field of activity, notable achievements, and distinctive characteristics. Covering areas ranging from academics, arts, skills development, volunteering, and media to entrepreneurship, the participating organizations presented creative, engaging, and inspiring displays. The networking space provided students with opportunities to gain deeper insights into club activities while expanding possibilities for connection, collaboration, and participation in activities aligned with their interests and abilities.

In addition, the session introducing and guiding students in the use of the University’s digital resource database provided valuable skills that support learning, research, and the development of self-directed learning abilities in a modern educational environment.

The launch of the Student Club Network together with the Workshop “Leadership Training – Leadership in the Digital Era” not only contributes to enhancing the capacity of student leaders but also demonstrates Hanoi Metropolitan University’s commitment to the holistic development of its learners. Through practical and meaningful activities, HNMU is gradually building a modern and dynamic educational environment where students are empowered to develop leadership competencies, professional skills, and the adaptability required to meet the evolving demands of society in the digital era.
