Speaking at the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn emphasized that the emergence and development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is a driving force for innovation activities. This movement has always received the attention of the Party, the State, and society as a whole, with the aspiration to develop the country rapidly and sustainably based on the motivation and role of entrepreneurship and innovation activities.

In the current trend of developing high-quality human resources, the core learners—students—play a decisive role in the success of innovation activities, including entrepreneurship. This has been recognized by the Party and the State in the construction of the “Support Program for Student and Pupil Entrepreneurship until 2025,” focusing on three main contents: supporting entrepreneurship training; creating an entrepreneurial environment; and providing capital support for startup projects.

According to Chairman Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, entrepreneurship and innovation activities are developmental in nature, stemming from personal concerns and new ideas to solve everyday problems linked to individuals in the social community. Hanoi Metropolitan University aims to foster “new perspectives and new forums for students and youth union members to express their youthful aspirations and resilient spirit, ready to start businesses and overcome all challenges and personal limits.”

To achieve this, active collaboration is needed between the University and business partners to mobilize resources effectively, strongly promote, and spread the entrepreneurial spirit among the students and youth union members of the University, contributing to sustainable development and enhancing the image of Hanoi Metropolitan University.

The seminar “Connecting Promising Startup Ideas HNMU 2024” was organized to create opportunities for connection and sharing of startup ideas, fostering an environment that encourages creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship. It is an opportunity for ideas to improve skills in implementation, orientation, and refinement of projects to achieve the best results, contributing to the development of entrepreneurship and innovation activities at the University.
