Hanoi Metropolitan University signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Nha Trang University.

On the morning of August 13, 2025, in a solemn yet open atmosphere, Hanoi Metropolitan University held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nha Trang University, marking a new stage of collaboration between two prestigious higher education institutions in Vietnam.

The ceremony was attended by senior leaders from both universities. From Hanoi Metropolitan University, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân – Vice Rector, Dr. Bùi Quốc Hoàn – Vice Rector, together with leaders of functional units. From Nha Trang University, there was Dr. Quách Hoài Nam – Acting Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Hồng Mạnh – Head of Finance and Planning Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tô Văn Phương – Head of Undergraduate Training Department, and M.A. Trần Minh Văn – Deputy Head of IT & Administration.

Three pillars of cooperation – Linking practice and academia

The memorandum of understanding between the two universities focuses on three key areas:

• Development of technical standards and services: The two sides will jointly research and build technical standards and service pricing frameworks suitable to the characteristics of each training field, contributing to improving management and operation efficiency.

• Benchmarking educational training, scientific research, and community support: Through sharing experiences and data, the two universities will jointly review, evaluate, and improve training programs, research activities, and social support initiatives.

• Promoting student exchange: The student exchange program between the two universities will provide learners with opportunities to access diverse learning environments, thereby developing skills, thinking, and adaptability in the context of global education.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the two universities emphasized the importance of inter-university cooperation in the context of higher education undergoing strong transformation. The signing is not only a strategic commitment but also a foundation for implementing specific, practical, and long-term activities.
