Hanoi Metropolitan University Promotes Strategic Cooperation with Enterprises: Signing of MOU
On the morning of December 24, 2025, at the Grand Hall, Hanoi Metropolitan University solemnly held the “Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony and Scientific Seminar” under the theme: “Developing Cooperation between Hanoi Metropolitan University and Enterprises: Current Situation and Solutions.” The event marked an important step in linking theoretical training with professional practice, opening golden opportunities for the University’s students.
Attending the program on behalf of Hanoi Metropolitan University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuân – Vice Rector; along with leaders of departments, faculties, centers, and more than 300 students from the Faculties of Economics and Tourism, and Management and Urban Studies.
From the partner and enterprise side, the event was honored by the presence of leaders from leading corporations and enterprises such as Marriott International, Flamingo Holding Group, Agribank, and FPT Retail.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn affirmed that strengthening ties between the University and enterprises is a key factor in improving human resource quality and enhancing the University’s reputation in the context of international integration.

The signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of representatives from the University leadership and partner organizations. In the first signing session, Hanoi Metropolitan University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Vietnam Business Council – Marriott Group, one of the world’s largest hotel management corporations. The agreement focuses on establishing a strategic partnership in training and supplying high-quality human resources. This cooperation opens “golden opportunities” for students in internships, career orientation, and recruitment within Marriott’s internationally standardized professional environment, enabling them to confidently enter the global tourism and hospitality workforce supply chain.

Next, the University signed a cooperation agreement with Flamingo Holding Group, a pioneer in real estate, resort, and travel services. The agreement commits to providing students with dynamic practical training environments at the Group’s iconic projects and five-star ecosystem. Through Flamingo’s integrated strategic model from investment to operation management, students will have opportunities to combine academic knowledge with excellent service experiences, meeting the demanding requirements of the modern labor market.

Immediately following the signing ceremony was the Scientific Seminar featuring four in-depth presentations from experts: Ms. Lê Phương Thảo (HR Director of Marriott Group in Vietnam) shared insights on the current situation and solutions for cooperation in training and recruitment between the University and JW Marriott hotels; Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thu Hà (Director of Agribank Training School) proposed cooperation models in training in the digital era; Mr. Hoàng Ngọc Khánh (Head of Strategic HR Partnerships, FPT Retail) outlined career pathways from HNMU to FPT’s retail and healthcare ecosystem; Mr. Lê Văn Chiến (Head of Training Department, Flamingo Holding Group) analyzed enterprises’ practical needs to narrow the training gap.
The discussion session between enterprises and students was lively and engaging. Students directly raised questions and received valuable advice on professional skills, work attitudes, and career advancement opportunities within major corporations.

The event concluded successfully with a souvenir exchange and a group photo session between the University leadership and enterprise representatives.
