The two sides agreed on future cooperation directions, including the widespread implementation of the Japanese preschool education model in kindergartens in Cau Giay District, as well as developing specialized training programs for students and lecturers in the Preschool Education Department of Hanoi Metropolitan University. Specifically, JICA proposed supporting the training of students in the Preschool Education Department of Hanoi Metropolitan University through practical programs, professional training, and experience sharing from Japanese education experts. The "Building a Japanese-style Preschool Education Model" project, supported by JICA, aims to apply advanced Japanese education methods to the curriculum in Vietnam. At Dich Vong Hau Kindergarten, the project focuses on activities such as music education, physical development, and encouraging reading habits through the Ehome system. These methods not only help children develop comprehensively but also create a solid foundation for future learning. The "Building a Japanese-style Preschool Education Model" project is expected to be completed in December 2025. However, JICA and its partners are considering a three-year extension to continue supporting preschool teacher training and improving teaching quality. Hanoi Metropolitan University will play an important role in transferring this model to many other educational institutions, not only in Cau Giay District but also in other areas of Hanoi.

The cooperation between Hanoi Metropolitan University and JICA promises to contribute to improving the quality of preschool education in Vietnam, helping the young generation develop comprehensively according to advanced educational methods. At the same time, this is also an important step in the internationalization of education, creating sustainable cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Japan in the field of education and training.
