The Faculty has developed 02 applied career-oriented programs (POHE), namely Business Administration and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Annually, these programs have met or exceeded the student intake quotas, making them some of the highest recruitment results in the University (since 2017).
Awards and Recognition: In the academic year 2017-2018, the Faculty participated in the "Hanoi Promotion Month 2017" program organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for outstanding achievements. In the same year, the Faculty was recognized as an "Excellent Labor Collective" and received a Certificate of Merit from Hanoi.
Cooperation and Partnerships: The Faculty has actively collaborated with nearly 50 businesses and professional organizations, linking training with practical experience. Notably, in the emerging field of Logistics, the Faculty has successfully advised the University to join the Logistics Training Network, led by the Import-Export Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and is now an active member of the Logistics Training Association.
Other Activities: The Faculty is a leader in extracurricular activities and student support, having implemented the "Administrative Reform and Service Culture Enhancement" program as a model unit in the academic year 2017-2018. The Faculty also successfully launched the “Green Cycle” project, providing free bicycles for staff and students inside and outside the University. Additionally, the Faculty coordinated with Honda Vietnam to organize training on safe driving skills and free oil changes for staff and students’ motorcycles.
5. Additional Benefits for Students in the Faculty of Economics and Tourism
The Faculty is located at the main campus, where most training activities and extracurricular activities take place.
The teaching staff is highly qualified, with most instructors fluent in foreign languages and trained abroad, allowing for exposure to advanced knowledge and modern teaching methods that engage students.
The Faculty applies a professional autonomy model for instructors, allowing them to freely design course content, teaching methods, teaching spaces, and assessment strategies, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
The Faculty offers a wide variety of extracurricular and supplementary training activities, led by student clubs including the Debate Club, Creativity Club, and Media & Marketing Club. These clubs are run by students themselves, giving them the opportunity to lead and manage their own initiatives.
The Faculty, like the University, is one of the few institutions in Vietnam with a simulation training room for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, providing in-depth training for these specialized fields. This facility is rarely available even at some foreign educational institutions.
