Overview of the Workshop.

An annual academic forum for young staff and lecturers aimed at promoting scientific research, sharing experiences, and updating innovative trends in higher education.

On the morning of November 18, Hanoi Metropolitan University organized the 9th Young Staff Scientific Workshop, attracting the participation of a large number of young staff and lecturers from units across the University. This is a meaningful annual activity that encourages the spirit of scientific research, enhances professional capacity, and spreads academic culture among the University’s young staff.

Attending the Workshop were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, President of Hanoi Metropolitan University, along with representatives of unit leaders, the Trade Union, the Youth Union, and staff and lecturers of the University.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hong Cuong, President of Hanoi Metropolitan University, affirmed that in the context of higher education undergoing strong transformation toward innovation, digital transformation, and international integration, the University’s young staff play a pivotal role in leading change. The Workshop provides an opportunity for young lecturers to demonstrate their research capacity, share professional experiences, and propose practical solutions to improve training quality, meeting the increasingly high demands of society and the development of the Capital.

Research reports presented at the Workshop.

This year’s Workshop gathered numerous scientific reports across the fields of natural sciences, technology, education, social sciences, and humanities. The reports were divided into two thematic sessions: Natural Sciences – Technology – Education and Social Sciences & Humanities – Economics – Management – Culture & Tourism. The papers focused on new and practical issues such as the application of technology in teaching, innovation in teaching methods, development of scientific research in universities, factors affecting young lecturers’ professional engagement, improving the quality of National Defense and Security Education, and many topics with high practical value.

The 9th Young Staff Scientific Workshop was not only an academic exchange forum but also a meaningful activity in inspiring the spirit of research and innovation among young staff and lecturers of Hanoi Metropolitan University. Through the presented papers and discussions, the Workshop opened up many new approaches, contributing to improving teaching effectiveness, enhancing research capacity, and promoting the development of a dynamic and creative academic environment within the University. The outcomes of the Workshop serve as motivation for the young workforce to continue fostering intellect, enthusiasm, and responsibility, while affirming the important role of young staff and lecturers in the development strategy of Hanoi Metropolitan University in the new period.
