Global application-oriented training treds: Application-oriented post-university training experience in Vietnam
With the dynamism, development and great progress of technology, the importance of applied education, especially in postgraduate training, plays an essential role in global development. This study deals with application- oriented training trends in the world and their impact on postgraduate training in Vietnam. The study clarifies the characteristics and nature of these trends and the potential for integration in graduate education in Vietnam. The study applies an integrated method to examine the characteristics and properties of application-oriented training trends in the world through synthesizing scientific articles, and research from Scopus and global scholars. Thereby, a general study concentrates on the nature of the applied training process. In addition, this research offers potential benefits to students, teachers and stakeholders. The multi-dimensional survey of this study contributes to the development of education, especially the direct impact between application-oriented training and graduate education in Vietnam. Helping policy makers, teachers, and stakeholders in Vietnam contribute to the quality of graduate education, helping graduates gain knowledge in a dynamic area of expertise, focusing on practical skills. In addition, this study highlights the need to synchronize curriculum with trends that empower graduate students to achieve success nationally and internationally.
