Announcement on Some Information Regarding the 2025 Regular University Admission
ANNOUNCEMENT
ON SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE 2025 REGULAR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS
In recent days, Hanoi Metropolitan University has received several questions and feedback from parents and candidates regarding the 2025 regular undergraduate admissions of the University. The University sincerely appreciates these contributions and would like to provide clarification as follows:
1. Strict compliance with the university admissions regulations and the 2025 admissions guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training: On July 23, 2025, Hanoi Metropolitan University publicly announced (Announcement No. 1167/TB-ĐHTĐHN) the adjustment of score differences between the C00 subject combination and other combinations for the admission method based on the high school graduation exam results. Accordingly, candidates applying with combinations other than C00 were given an additional 0.75 points on the 30-point scale. The University hereby reaffirms that the information regarding the C00 combination score adjustment has been made public in a clear, transparent, and timely manner, in compliance with regulations.
2. After the results of 10 rounds of admission processing (virtual filtering) by the Ministry of Education and Training and 10 rounds of virtual filtering by the Northern Universities Group, the Admissions Council of Hanoi Metropolitan University convened and decided the admission cut-off scores for each program. To facilitate candidates in accessing information, especially those applying with the C00 combination using the high school graduation exam scores, the Council decided to issue the cut-off scores in two separate announcements, strictly following the timeline and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
3. The processing of admission data and determination of successful candidates are carried out entirely on the centralized system of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and immutability. Based on these results, the University announces the official admission cut-off scores in accordance with the regulations.
4. The decision to publish two separate announcements on admission cut-off scores was initially intended to ensure clarity, transparency, and convenience for candidates. However, the lack of continuity in the document release process caused misunderstandings among candidates and parents, which in turn generated unfavorable public opinion. Hanoi Metropolitan University has strictly reprimanded the individuals in charge and drawn serious lessons to improve the admissions process as well as communications and admissions counseling in the future.
Once again, Hanoi Metropolitan University sincerely thanks parents and candidates for their trust and choice to study at the University. We reaffirm our commitment to always complying with regulations, ensuring transparency and fairness in the admissions process, and safeguarding the best interests of candidates and learners.
