Nghiên cứu về ảnh hưởng của chất lượng hoạt động dạy học đến sự gắn kết học tập: Một nỗ lực phát triển khung quản trị chất lượng giáo dục ở cơ sở giáo dục đại học
This study aim to investigate the effect of teaching quality on learning engagement in an effort to develop a framework for educational quality management in higher education institutions. To reach the aim, the study has applied a theoretical model of education assessement developed in the West to a Vietnamese research sample. through adapting two measurements and testing methods. Based on two adapted measures, this study evaluated the associations between teaching qualities and academic engagement. This study involved 244 graduate students and alumni comming from a Vietnamese university, with a mean age of 41.8 (SD = 6.41), with 166 female students (68%). Results obtained form factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis suggest the reliability and validity of the scale used to measure course experience as a measure of teaching quality. Results obtained from hierarchical multiple regression analysis show a close relationship between the course experience, as an expression of the quality of teaching activities, and the student’s learning engagement. Research limitations, and suggestions for future research directions have also been pointed out in this paper.
