The quality of the teaching staff is one of the important factors determining the quality of education and training of the schools. Therefore, improving the capacity of lecturers, especially postgraduate lecturers is an urgent requirement in order to innovate and complete the teaching staff, contribute to training and improving the quality and professional capacity of the teaching staff in the context of international integration, comprehensively renovating the education system. The article aims to analyze the experiences of some countries on policies to improve the capacity of graduate lecturers and lessons learned for Vietnam.
