Opening Ceremony for the 8th Master's Program and Closing Ceremony – Master's Degree Awarding Ceremony (Batch 2) in 2025.
On the morning of August 23rd, 2025, the University of Hanoi solemnly held the Opening Ceremony for the 8th Master's Program and the Closing Ceremony – Master's Degree Awarding Ceremony (Batch 2). This was an important event, marking the beginning of the journey for 216 new graduate students and the maturity and graduation of 96 new Master's degree holders in various fields of study at the university.
The ceremony took place in a formal atmosphere, filled with pride for the faculty and students of the University of Hanoi in the context of the nation’s historical milestones, as the university looked forward to the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd. It also highlighted the university's 66 years of development and 12 years since its establishment.

The ceremony opened with cultural performances by the graduate students, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with hope and expectations. In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hồng Cường, Rector of the University, congratulated the new graduate students and Master's degree holders, while expressing gratitude for the support and guidance of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Hanoi People's Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, and other agencies that have partnered with the university in its postgraduate education efforts. According to Rector Đỗ Hồng Cường, since 2018, the university has trained 1,857 graduate students and doctoral candidates (38 of whom are doctoral candidates). In 2025 alone, 227 students graduated, with over 30 scientific papers (13.2%) published in specialized journals. This outcome confirms the university's prestige and quality in providing high-quality human resources for the capital and the country.
