7. Benefits of Studying Primary Education at HNMU
When enrolling in the Primary Education program at Hanoi Metropolitan University, students also have the opportunity to pursue a second major (and receive two bachelor's degrees upon completing both programs). For example, students may study English Language as a second major, allowing them to teach primary subjects or English at bilingual and international schools. Students may also choose from other available teacher training majors offered by the university.
Beyond the required number of credits, the training program includes 100 additional hours of pedagogical skill modules. These are practiced monthly throughout the academic years, helping students develop in-depth professional teaching skills and improve their problem-solving and classroom management abilities, closely aligning with real-world primary education practices.
The Primary Education program also includes a specialized class model that teaches Mathematics and Science in English at the primary level.
