4 training programs approved by the Education Quality Accreditation Council.
On March 31st, the Education Quality Accreditation Center (VCEA) of Vinh University held the 17th meeting of the Education Quality Accreditation Council (KĐCLGD) both in person and online to assess the external evaluation results of 6 training programs from two educational institutions: the International School - Hanoi National University and Hanoi Metropolitan University.
The 17th meeting was attended by Dr. Le My Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training; Dr. Tran Dinh Quang, Chairman of the 17th KĐCLGD Council; Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van, Head of the External Evaluation Team; members of the KĐCLGD Council, and representatives from the accredited institutions.
The evaluation of education quality by the KĐCLGD Council was conducted seriously and transparently, following the procedures of the Ministry of Education and Training as well as VCEA’s regulations. After the representative from Hanoi Metropolitan University presented a summary of the self-assessment process, the external evaluation team reported the results of the external evaluation of 4 training programs: Hotel Management; Business Administration, Service Management - Tourism and Travel Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The KĐCLGD Council asked questions and engaged in discussions with the university's representatives and the external evaluation team to clarify aspects of the accreditation process, results, and activities related to the self-assessment and external evaluation of the training programs. The council also took time for private discussions and held a secret vote to approve a resolution regarding the evaluation results, and to recommend solutions and improvements for the quality of the education of the 4 training programs in the upcoming period.
With a responsible, serious, and impartial working spirit, all members of the KĐCLGD Council enthusiastically discussed, considered, and agreed on the results of the external evaluation of the 4 training programs at Hanoi Metropolitan University.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Dinh Quang, Chairman of the 17th KĐCLGD Council, praised the professionalism, seriousness, objectivity, and fairness in the implementation of the education quality accreditation activities in general and the evaluation of education quality results in particular by VCEA and the KĐCLGD Council. Dr. Tran Dinh Quang also expressed his hope that the universities would continue to summarize practical experiences and the recommendations and comments from the external evaluation team and the KĐCLGD Council to develop appropriate plans and roadmaps to improve and enhance the quality of the accredited programs.
After the meeting, VCEA will continue to carry out procedures and follow the accreditation process for Hanoi Metropolitan University as regulated.
