Introduction to the Institute’s Training Programs
The Vietnam Studies program, established in 2007 at Hanoi Pedagogical College (now Hanoi Metropolitan University), was the first program offered when the Cultural Studies - Tourism Department was founded. Vietnam Studies is an interdisciplinary field that studies the country and people of Vietnam from aspects such as culture, history, geography, language, and literature. It comprehensively examines various aspects of the country from a regional studies perspective. After graduation, students can work in communication, journalism, culture, and tourism sectors. As of 2021, the department has four classes of Vietnam Studies with over 200 students.
